Gorgeous colour, the retro look is really cool, nice and quiet and brilliant size. Fits in with all the other retro pink salter products in my kitchen. Love it!

Wow I am really impressed with this microwave. It was well worth waiting for. As you can see it fits perfect for the space I needed. And it’s easy to use . And now I have my set for my kitchen. Including my salter knife block . Thank you Salter 😊

Good Microwave but poor choice using Yodel

Communications were good from the start with Salter after I made a purchase enquiry about delivery after paying. I will say I wasn't happy about Yodel delivering my product, due to them being very hit and miss as couriers, where most appear that they can't read or at least prove they can't by delivering to wrong addresses. As well as Yodel being slack following instructions with home deliveries. I delayed the delivery to another day that I could be around. Otherwise delivery turnaround would have been 2 days. Very quick! However I waited outside to ensure it came to my door, which required me to walk up a tall cul de sac in the wet and cold as I knew if delivered to the wrong building it would be hell to get back. Disappointing that Salter use Yodel for deliveries. The Microwave I ordered from Salter was in cream and is the Retro Digital Cream Microwave – 20L EK6445CRM model. I love its compact size and look. It arrived carefully packed and undamaged. The quality is high. I could have gone for one with more features with other companies that sell high quailty brands, but those companies did not do it in this cream, which I wanted to match my new undercounter fridge freezer. Plus the reviews for this microwave were positive overall with only one poor review about pools of water being inside the microwave after heating things up, turned out to be accurate, although I didn't have pools, just little spots of water near the door edge, which I shall monitor. I will say condensation builds up very quickly unlike my old delonghi microwave, but having used it now 5 times from it being delivered, it appears that it does depend on how you cover your food over in the microwave. Therefore I am relatively pleased with this microwave. I also appreciate the 3 year guarantee on the product 30 days from purchase opportunity given. I don't think I would have purchased this microwave however, if it didn't have one low poor review, wasn't in the cream colour I actually wanted and if it wasn't heavily discounted due to it being a Black Friday discount week. I paid £67. 99 instead of £84. 99. No where were gave discounts this big with a low poor review count on cream microwaves #Facts, I looked at 25 microwaves, top brands as well as none brands and read all their reviews, to ensure I got one without major issues and a poor review rating. I read reviews across different websites for this microwave. On first use with the product as this surprised it took approx 2. 30sec heat up to a nice temp. It does heat things quick but not as quickly as my old delonghi microwave. Nevertheless, it is a decent microwave that is compact enough to fit on my kitchentop without taking over too much space. Is retro and cream to match my new refrigerator and looks strudy like it will last. I hope 10 years like my delonghi old microwave and old refridgerator did. No complaints with the product, just Salter need to get rid of Yodel as a courier. People see who you use and don't bother. I was desperate for a cream match in my kitchen so took the risk. However if I had known in advance Yodel was involved. Would have ordered a standard black microwave with more features. That said it worked out in the end. Star drop due to Yodel being involved, which stressed me out.
