We have had a busy 2 weeks putting the new mixer to the test! After previously baking and creating solely by hand, this is a complete step up! We have made cakes, biscuits, scones, pizza, dough, buttercream, icing and more! The whisks is amazing at getting close to the edges, really catching the flour and fallout around the basin. The shield helps keep the kitchen and myself clean whilst still allowing ingredients to be added. The dough hook is a master and bringing the rough tough dough together: though it did create some friction and grinding inside the machine on a higher setting when mixing thicker substances. Although this did not in anyway impact negatively the outcomes or dough formed, it was very noisy and had an unnatural feel to it with it being quite loud and janking. Thankfully the sticky presses at the base helped keep the mixer flush to the worktop! Colour and style, both beautiful in quality looks and overall finish in the kitchen - a true upgrade to my baking and a well loved addition to the family!
